Applicants are selected through a comprehensive assessment of their submitted documents and results of the examination.

Content
Submit the original of TOEIC Official Score Certificate or TOEFL Test Taker Score Report / Examinee Score Report together with the application document. Basic knowledge of health and sport sciences will be assessed. Answer questions either in Japanese or English. A 15-minute individual interview focusing on the research proposal will be conducted in English.
Notes

  1. Oral examination will be conducted in English.
  2. Make sure to contact your prospective supervisor before submitting the application.
  3. As a proof of English proficiency, attach the original of TOEIC Official Score Certificate or TOEFL Test Taker Score Report / Examinee Score Report to the designated application document. Note that you are not allowed to submit a copy of TOEIC Official Score Certificate or TOEFL Test Taker Score Report / Examinee Score Report, the Official Score Certificate of TOEIC SW Test or TOEIC Bridge Test, TOEIC Institutional Program (IP) Score Report, and TOEFL Institutional Test Score Report.
  4. Only the TOEIC Official Score Certificate or TOEFL Test Taker Score Report / Examinee Score Report of the test taken after August 2015 is valid. We will not return the submitted original document.
